Reporting to the Levy Inspector II, the job holder will be responsible for:

Maintaining register for registered contributors;

Dispatching demand notices;

Verifying levy payment records.

The successful candidate must:

Have at least a diploma in a business related field;

Have at least two (2) years’ relevant work experience

Be proficient in computer applications.

11. NITA Industrial Training Officer Jobs in Kenya - (Grade 7)-HRA/DIT/01/2017 - 7 Post

Reporting to the Senior Industrial training Officer, the job holder will be responsible for:

Establishing capacity for employers to train the apprentice/indentured learner

Developing of training plans

Implementing of the training plans

Preparing of assessment tools and materials

Setting and marking of examinations, guiding and assessing trainees in their course work;

Ensuring maintenance of proper records of apprentice/indentured learners attachees and interns

Supervising apprentice/indentured learners both In-Centre and In-Plant training (in industry)

Carrying out inspections if gazetted as inspectors

Sensitizing employers on NITA functions

Preparing and organizing of training materials;

Preparing work plans and budgets;

Maintaining training equipment in desired conditions;

Researching and advising Industry on training matters.

The successful candidate must:

Be a holder of Diploma in mechanical, electrical/electronics, automotive, building and construction, refrigeration and air conditioning, P.V. solar installation, textile, fashion & design from a recognized institution;

Be in possession of a relevant competence certificate;

Be in possession of instructor’s training course of not less than 4 weeks from a recognized institution;

Have experience of not less than two (2) years in the industry;

12. NITA Chef Jobs in Kenya - (Grade 6)-HRA/DIT/02/2017 – 2 Post

Reporting to the respective Centre Manager, the job holder will be responsible for:

Liaising with Hospitality officer on kitchen supplies provisions;

Efficient and proper organizing and managing of food production services;

Ensuring that all raw foods to be used in production are acquired and assembled in good time;

Issuing dry goods from the store;

Taking monthly stock, receiving fresh produce and checking for required specifications and quality;

Designing and reviewing of menu

Ensuring proper placement of food in the buffet service;

Following up on work orders for defective equipment;

Ensuring proper use of equipment; reviewing menus as necessary;

Identifying staff for training; and carrying out on –the- job training for staff.

The successful candidate must:

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) C-(Minus);

Have attended a course lasting not less than one (1) year and awarded a certificate in Food Production or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

An experience of five (5) years in a similar position

Proficiency in computer applications
