16. NITA Supply Chain Management Officer II Jobs in Kenya - (Grade) - HRA/SCM/03/2017 – 4 Posts

Reporting to the Supply Chain Management Officer I, the job holder will be responsible for:

Supervising and providing guidelines to the officers below him/her;

Assisting in procurement and inventory management;

Assisting preparation of procurement plans

Marketing survey and research in procurement matters

Preparing of periodic and annual reports and returns;

Evaluating of tender exercise

Procurement record management

Preparing the purchase orders

Expediting outstanding purchase orders;

Processing of agenda for the procurement committee;

The successful candidate must:

Have a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant, related and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution;

Be a holder of CIPS I from a recognized institution

Have at least two (2) years’ relevant work experience. The two (2) years relevant work experience in a State Owned Organization will be an added advantage;

Be proficient in computer applications skills.

Have a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, or any other relevant, related and equivalent qualifications from a recognized Institution;

Be a holder of CIPS I from a recognized institution

Have at least two (2) years’ relevant work experience. The two (2) years relevant work experience in a State Owned Organization will be an added advantage;

Be proficient in computer applications skills.

Internal Audit Department

18. NITA Chief Internal Auditor Jobs in Kenya - (Grade 11) - HRA/IA/01/2017 - 1 Post

Reporting to the Manager Internal Audit, the job holder will be responsible for:

Developing annual audit plan;

Preparing documents for use in the Audit and Compliance Committee;

Undertaking special audit investigations as may be required from time to time;

Facilitating risk management exercises and ensures implementation of risk management frame work;

Interpretation of Authority’s policies for sound audit planning;

Coordinating responses to management letters from the external auditors in liaison with the Manager, Internal Audit;

Following up of implementation Public Investment Committee (PIC) recommendations;

Supervising staff as a delegated responsibility by the Manager Internal Audit

The successful candidate must:

Have a Master’s degree in the following discipline: MBA-Finance or Accounting option, MSc. Finance or Accounting option or any other related field from a
recognized institution;

Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, or Business Management (Finance or Accounting option) or any other related field from a recognized institution;

Be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) /Certified Internal Auditors (CIA) Finalist or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institution;

Have at least seven (7) years’ relevant work experience. The seven (7) years relevant work experience in a State Owned Organization will be an added advantage;

Be a registered member of ICPAK in good standing;

Have attended a Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution;

Be Proficient in Computerized Accounting/ Auditing skills;

Meet the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and Integrity.
