Job Specification:

[Duties and Responsibilities will entail;

Collecting information for the development of knowledge management strategy/guidelines;

Drafting reports on NHC’s projects, impacts and outcomes;

Assisting in gathering data, information and documentation of the same for the purpose of knowledge management;

Collecting data on existing resource to inform its relevancy, accuracy and applicability in the institution and the industry;

Assisting in the identification, collection, documentation, and storing of tacit/implicit knowledge and converting it into shared knowledge;

Monitoring the implementation of Knowledge Management Strategy and other initiatives;

Developing new ideas, approaches, practices and procedures in knowledge management;

Identifies requisites books and periodicals; and

Assisting in preparing of e-resources for public access.

Person Specification:

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Library Studies, Information Science, knowledge management, or other relevant and equivalent qualification from a recognized and accredited institution;

Proficiency in computer applications; and

Fulfilled the provisions of Chapter Six of the Constitution.

Interpersonal skills;

Communication skills;

Ability to meet deadlines;

Customer focus;
