Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring patients condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care and advice

  • Recording a patients medical history and symptoms

  • Administer medication and other personalized interventions.

  • Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests and health histories before making critical decisions.

  • Provide health support, counselling and advice to patients.

  • Coordinating care in collaboration with a wide array of health care professionals.

  • Operating medical equipment.

  • Providing basic bedside care.

  • Training and educating staff.

    Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise:

  • Competence in promoting Health education.

  • Administering medication

  • Checking vital signs

  • Cleaning wounds and changing bandages

  • Inserting catheters

  • Starting an IV and PICC lines

  • Drawing blood and collection bllod cultures

  • Computer literacy

  • Critical thinking and problem solving

  • Ethics and confidentiality
