The ideal candidate will be charged with the responsibility of managing the development and execution of all advertising solutions, sponsorships, content partnerships, events and activations for clients in a cluster of counties managed within Eldoret & Kisumu branches. He/she will be reporting to the Commercial Manager.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Lead digital commercialization initiatives that influence both new & old media, while ensuring targets are attained;
Drive the strategic commercial objectives including the revenue streams, events and the activities across each financial period;
Plan, coordinate and supervise the Business Solutions Executives to generate and meet agreed individual and team's volumes against the set monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets for all products or as may be assigned;
Lead the sales teams in understanding the client business needs and develop innovative advertising solutions as may be required;
Lead in engaging the product with the target market audience, advertisers and consumers through effective client engagement and product offering awareness;
Coordinate and collaborate internal planning/brainstorms towards the responses to specific product advertising opportunities;
Building and maintaining relationships across departments with a view to develop integrated solutions for the mutual benefits of both our internal & external customers;
Work with the creative, marketing and production teams on concept executions while supporting the team to present concise,
accurate and creative responses that meet clients' requirements;
Lead in identifying new leads, maintaining client service relations and fostering business relationships;
Support team members to ensure their growth and motivation, as well as offer overall coaching and guidance to maximize on individual and team potential.
Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Attributes:
Bachelor's degree in business studies or related field from a recognized institution;
Five (5) years of relevant experience preferably in media sales;
Must possess maturity, professionalism and poise, and have proven experience interacting with business solutions executives, as the position requires direct contact with decision makers, brand representatives and clients in the marketplace;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
Experience working across teams in organizations and managing projects across teams;
Ability to work independently, possess initiative with proven outstanding project management skills;
Strong understanding of lead generation, solutions driven and great sense of value delivery;
Knowledge and Understanding of high net worth consumers;
Have an understanding of regional events and commercialization of the same;
Leadership and conflict resolutions skills;
Ability to cultivate long standing client relationships.
