Mice Broadcasting Uganda Limited (ABUL). a Nation Media Grout company, operating NTV and SPARK TV seeks to recruit talented and qualified individuals to fill the following vacancy;

Job Title: Commercial Manager TV-ABUL

Reports to: General Manager -Commercial NMG Uganda

Department: Advertising

Job Purpose: To formulate and coordinate strategic advertising plans and to implement them to ensure achievement of the revenue objectives of ABUL.

Main Responsibilities:

Plans and coordinates broadcasting sales strategies to meet the business units and the Group's business objectives

Negotiates annual advertising contracts with representatives of major advertising clients.

Track the sales team performance on a daily. weekly and monthly and regularly communicate the status of their Performance

Develops innovative ideas 'cv existing and new products In close conjunction with Head of Departments for approval and implementation.

Assists the Business Mangers and Se es Team in resolving clients' issues/complaints.

Reviews debt status of the clients' accounts to determine credit worthiness and to recommend way forward.

Evaluates ABUI 's products performance against competition with a new to increasing audience shares.

Coordinates activities with the General Manager Commercial and other managers and achieve teamwork in the department and enhance the cross functional potential.

Ensure Sates contracts are in place with the appropriate clients and directly that associates and follows up and resolves any complements and keep the General Manager Commercial informed.

Develops the convergence agenda through supervising and championing joint projects with other

Commercial Managers.

Business Managers and Sales Team on potential new clients.

Maintains close liaison wth relevant departments and makes monthly sales and collection resorts to the General Manager Commercial.

Mentor and coach the team and regular y carry our performance management reviews as per Africa Broadcasting Uganda bolted guidelines

Qualifications and Experience:

Academic

Bachelor's degree in business related course

Professional: ,post graduate qualification is ideal

Experience: At least 5 years' experience heaving a sales function it a FMCG environment

Experience in broadcast sales is an added advantage

In-depth understanding of media industry in Uganda.

Computer literacy especially in PowerPoint. Word arc Spreadsheets
