Narok County Inspectors (Roads) Jobs in Kenya

Pursuant to the Constitution of Kenya 2010 (Article 185(2), 186(1) and 187(2) on distribution of functions between the National Government and County Government, the Narok County Public
Service Board invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions in the Narok County Government.

Duties and responsibilities

An officer at this level will be in charge of road camp or a construction unit. Duties will include:

Supervision and control of all road work within the officer’s area of jurisdiction;

Assisting in the selection and location of suitable materials for road works , tools and plant ledgers ,long sheets and tickets stores ledgers, tools and plant ledges ,log sheets and tickets ,daily activity cards and any other any other records ;and

Preparation of work programs in liaison with the divisional officers

Requirements for appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have: -

Kenya certificate of secondary education mean grade c with c- in both mathematics and physics; and

Diploma in civil engineering or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized institution.
