Duties and ResponsibilitiesAn Officer at this level will head administration in the County with highly complex development activities and diverse socio-economic and political background.
The officer will be responsible for the
efficient management and coordination of Government functions such as co-ordination of disaster management and emergency response activities;
Dissemination and overseeing implementation of
Government policies;
Coordinating and ensuring timely response to County assembly business and preparation of CECM statements, briefs and reports;
Co-ordination of Departmental activities to
mitigate HIV/Aids;
Ensuring integrity and ethical conduct within the Department;
Ensuring security of Government assets coordinating administrative matters in Departments;
Representing the Chief Officer in various meetings and stakeholders fora;
Facilitating mobilization of resources for effective public service delivery.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
Served in the grade of Deputy Secretary for at least three (3) years;
Masters Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in any Social Science from a recognized Institution;
Attended a Strategic Leadership Development Programme from a recognized Institution; and
Shown merit and ability
