Nandi County Animal Health Assistants Jobs

Nandi County Public Service Board wishes to recruit competent and qualified persons to fill the following positions. The details on job descriptions and specifications are available on the County's website.

The details of the advertised positions are available at all the Sub-County offices; Kapsabet, Kobujoi, Nandi Hills, Kabiyet, Chemundu, Maraba and the Public Service Board Offices. For any necessary enquiry email epsb@nandi.go.ke

Duties and Responsibilities

Al Services;

Disease control/surveillance;

Carrying out practical demonstrations relating to Animal Health and production;

Collecting and collating livestock data and information;

Accompanying extension teams during farm visits and farmer training;

Participating in field days and agricultural shows to disseminate livestock Health and production technologies and information; and

Participating In collaborative research activities.

Terms of Service

Two (2] year contract

Requirements for appointment

Animal health and production,from a recognized institution;

Certificate In Artificial Insemination.

Driving/Riding license valid for motorcycles class

Must have practising experience in Artificial Insemination (Al)

Must be computer literate.
