Nakasero Hospital Pastry Cook Jobs in Uganda

Nakasero Hospital is a private hospital that was started by a group of Consultant Doctors in 2009 who came together with a goal of setting up a world class hospital that would meet the healthcare needs of Ugandans and East Africans who were seeking medical treatment outside the region, due to the gap in quality healthcare services in the country.

As such we are looking for suitable candidate to fill the position of Pastry Cook

Interested candidate should be able to;

Prepare quality pastry items such as breakfast items, desserts, breads, ice creams, sorbets, creams, simple syrups, amenities, displays/centerpieces and special request items.

Key Result areas

• Create and prepare all pastry items as required by the business.

• Come up with recipe ideas from scratch.

• Plan for patients and customers.

• Maintain up to date knowledge about pastry arts and ingredients.

• Performs related work as required and any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge/Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

• A certificate in catering and hotel management or an equivalent qualification in catering.

• Interpersonal skills.

• Analytical, communication and writing skills.

• An analytical, problem-solving and creative work approach.
