Requirements for appointment For appointment to this grade a candidate must have:-

a KCSE mean grade C or its equivalent qualification;

a Diploma in Orthopaedic Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities An officer at this level will work under the guidance and supervision of a more senior officer.

Duties and responsibilities at this level will include:-

provision of Orthopedic technology services such as designing, fabrication, fitting and maintenance of orthopedic appliances;

assessing patients’ needs and maintain information relating to patients;

ordering and maintaining record of supplies
