Job Requirements

For appointment to this internship position, a candidate must:

Have a Diploma in technical education from a recognized institution;
OR

Diploma in any of the following fields: Education Medical laboratory, Pharmacy, Nutrition Dietetics, General Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Agronomy, Building and Civil Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Petroleum, Geophysical/Sciences, Performing Arts, Counseling Psychology, Survey, Marine Engineering, Engineering, Architecture, Communication, Mechatronics, Education, Information and Communication Technology, Textiles/Clothing Technology, Chemical Engineering, Catering or Hospitality Management, Business Studies/Administration, Applied Science or equivalent qualification plus a Training of Trainers course lasting not less than six (6) weeks from a recognized institution;

Training of Trainers (TOT) certificate lasting not less than 2 weeks from a recognized institution

Have graduated not earlier than year 2017;

Be proficient in computer skills; and

Be energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Job Description

Duties include, but not limited to:

Completing duties mutually agreed upon and assigned by the supervisors;

Documenting relevant skills acquired in their areas of deployment; and

Actively participating in any relevant

mentorship activities and additional responsibilities designed for the program which include-;

Theoretical & practical training/instruction in areas of specialization,

Coordinating of courses, projects and practical work;

Preparing & maintaining schemes of work; lesson plans, lesson notes, training records teaching & learning materials;

Carrying out trainee assessment - setting and marking examinations,

Coordinate storage, care and usage of teaching & learning materials, tools & equipment

Conducting co-curricular activities

Maintaining trainee discipline

Assist in carrying out research in the relevant field of specialization.
