Job Requirements

Be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in the following discipline Tourism Management, project management, Marketing or related field from a recognized institution in Kenya.

Be a holder of a Diploma in Tourism Management, Events Management, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field from a recognized institution.

Membership of a recognized professional body will be added advantage.

Must have relevant knowledge and experience of not less than 3 years in a related area

Demonstrate professional competency in work performance and result.

Must satisfy requirement of Chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010.

Job Description

Participating in Tourism Marketing activities.

Devising tourism Development initiatives/campaign.

Assisting in Tourism Product development and diversification.

Coordinating activities in the Information Centre and gallery.

Communicating with stakeholders on tourism development in your area of jurisdiction.

Updating and improvement of the County Tourism Database.

Handling tourism stakeholder’s complaints/suggestion and providing feedback to stakeholders.

Preparing period tourism reports with your supervisor.
