Job RequirementsMust have a Bachelor of Law (LLB) Degree and qualified under Section 12 and 13 of the Advocates Act.
A Diploma in law or having registered for a Diploma with the Kenya School of Law will be an added advantage.
Possess leadership skill, ability to work under pressure, organization skills, problem solving.
Demonstrate professional competence in work performance and results
Must be below 30 years of age.
Job Description
Reporting to the Director Legal
Representing the County in Court (Civil & Criminal cases)
Obtaining instructions and witnesses from relevant departments/Sectors
Preparation of Lease documents, Agreement for lease, Assignments and Contracts documents
Preparation of Consents to transfer and Consent to charge
Verification of supporting documents for preparation of transfers, leases, agreements for lease and assignments
Submission of Conveyancing documents to the Lands office for registration.
Preparation of performance bonds.
Drafting County Bills and policies
Carrying out research on policy formulation and Legislative drafting
