Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines; Education or Technology Education from a recognized institution;
OR
Bachelor’s degree in Science /arts with a post –graduate diploma in Education from a recognized institution;
Master’s degree in any of the following discipline, Education or technology Education from a recognized institution.
OR
Master’s degree in Science /Arts from a recognized institution as an added advantage
Senior Management course lasting not less than (4) weeks from a recognized institution;
Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognized institution
3 years’ working experience
Membership to IHRM or KASNEB
Possess Leadership skills, Communication skills, Interpersonal skills Organizational skills, Ability to work under pressure, Negotiation skills, Ability to build and lead cohesive teams, Problem solving skills
Must meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya on Leadership and integrity.
Responsibilities
Coordinating equitable distribution of materials, tools and equipment to the Teacher
Management Centres.
Monitoring implementation of curricular and co- curricular activities to maintain standards in Teacher Management Centres.
Assessing upcoming Teacher Management Centres’ capacity for registration as training institutions and examination centres,
Coordinating the identification, promotion and development of innovative initiatives in Teacher Management Centres,
Monitoring the development and maintenance of skills inventories in Teacher Management Centres.
Promoting and developing talent through creative arts (music, art and drama) managing inter – post primary Training Centres’ exchange programs to enhance learning,
Popularizing Teacher Management Centres to target communities,
Establishment and maintenance of personnel records in the Teacher Management Centres.
