Advertisement of Vacancies of Board Members in the Nairobi City County Assembly Service Board (NCCASB)

Pursuant to Article 176 of the Constitution of Kenya. 2010 that establishes a County Assembly for each my Government as read together with section 12(3) (c1) of tho County Government Act. 2012 and sections 8. 9. 46 and the first schedule of the County Assembly Service Act. 2017. the Nairobi City County Assembly Service Board invites applications from interested persons (One male and ono female) who qualify to serve as members of the Nairobi City County Assembly Service Board.

Requirements for Appointment

i Must be a Kenyan Citizen

ii. Must be a resident of Nairobi County. with knowledge and experience in public affairs BUT not a member of the County Assembly.

iii. Holds a degree from a recognized University in Kenya

iv Have at least ten years' experience in public affairs

v Meets the requirements of leadership and integrity as prescribed in Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya. 2010

Accordingly, the office of the Chairperson of Nairobi City County Assembly Service Board invites interested persons who quality to be appointed to the position of Board Member to the Nairobi City County Assembly Service Board to collect nomination forms from the office of the Speaker of County Assembly, 2nd floor, Room no. 182, City Hall Building, Assembly Wing, Nairobi from Thursday 31st (MOW, 2019.


Application Criteria

Persons interested in filling the above positions should submit their applications. accompanied with the following documents:

i. Academic Certificates

ii. KRA Clearance Certificate

iii. Compliance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)

iv. Certificate of Good Conduct from the Department of Criminal Investigations.

v. Clearance Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)

vi. National ID or passport and copy of CV.

vii. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Clearance vie

viii.Candidates with foreign degrees MUST obtain accreditation from the commission of Higher Education of Kenya

The aforementioned documents should be Hand Delivered together with the nomination form to the Office of the Speaker. & Chairperson of the Board, 1st floor, Room no. 182, City Hall Building, Assembly Wing, Nairobi. in a sealed Envelope. so as to reach her not later (than Friday, 8th November, 2019 at 5:00 pm.
