NACOSTI Supply Chain Management Jobs Kenya

Reporting to the Director General, the Deputy Director, Supply Chain Management will head the Supply Chain Management Department

Responsibilities

Developing and coordinating the preparation of annual procurement and disposal plans and their implementation;

Coordinating procurement and disposal activities in the Commission;

Preparing contract documents for goods, works and services;

Custodian of contract documents;

Liaising with the user department to ensure effective implementation of contracts for goods, works and services;

Providing secretariat to committees incidental to procurement of goods and services, and disposal of assets;

Coordinating disposal of assets activities;

Providing professional advice on procurement of goods, works and services and disposal of assets;

Preparing statutory reports to Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA); and
Reviewing procurement needs of the Commission.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Procurement and Supplies Management, or equivalent from a recognized university;

Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, logistics or equivalent from a recognized university;

Diploma in Supplies Management or its equivalent from a recognized institution;

Member of professional body, either KISM or CIPS in good standing;

Attended a management course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution;

At least ten (10) years relevant work experience in public or private institution;

At least three (3) years’ experience in management;

Demonstrated results in work performance;
Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution;
