Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable IT Professional to join our dynamic team as a Coding Instructor for students in grades 1 to 8. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and a genuine interest in teaching and inspiring young learners. You will be responsible for developing and delivering online coding lessons that are both fun and educational, helping students to develop a solid foundation in coding and computational thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver online coding lessons tailored to students in grades 1-8.

Create engaging and age-appropriate coding projects and activities.

Foster a positive and inclusive online learning environment.

Monitor and assess students' progress, providing feedback and support.

Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in technology and coding education.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.

Experience in teaching coding or computer science to young students is highly desirable.

Proficiency in coding languages such as Scratch, Python, JavaScript, or similar.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.

Familiarity with educational technology tools and platforms.

Reliable internet connection and a suitable online teaching environment.
