Duties and responsibilities

An Officer at this level will work under a senior officer.

Designing,

Preparation of drawings and

Supervision of construction of civil,

Marine and structural works

Requirements for Appointment

For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:

Served in the grade of Assistant Engineer II (Structural) or comparable and relevant position in the Public in the Public Service for at least three (3) years;

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or its equivalent and relevant qualification form a recognized Institution;

Been registered by the Engineers Registration Board of Kenya (ERB) as a Graduate Engineer; and

Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results
