Job Description
  • We are looking for an individual with strong communication, attention to detail, strong strategic thinking, and planning skills to join the Revenue Division.
  • The role involves a 360-degree approach, encompassing research, prospecting, client acquisition, onboarding, and account management.

  • The FX Platform Sales Executive will be responsible for playing a crucial role in driving revenue growth by managing and expanding our client base. In this non-people management role, you will focus on FX sales, account management, and client relationship development.
  • You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building strong client relationships, and providing expert advice on our proprietary FX platform where client transactions are executed

    Duties / Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within various sectors for money movement and foreign exchange solutions.
  • Drive new corporate business through direct sales, following a 'hunter' approach under the guidance of the head of platform sales.
  • Prospect, present, and close deals while managing the entire sales cycle, ensuring compliance and customer onboarding.
  • Collaborate with research and trading teams to enhance the client experience.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Develop a strategic approach for identifying and prospecting new clients.
  • Initiate and manage campaigns to introduce potential clients to our services.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Present our treasury management solutions persuasively.
  • Negotiate and close deals to onboard new clients.
  • Guide clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition into our platform.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive information about our products and services.
  • Address client inquiries and concerns during the onboarding phase.
  • Proactively identify and target potential clients for FX trading services.
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
  • Understand clients' financial goals and risk tolerance to tailor FX solutions accordingly.
  • Stay updated on market trends, economic news, and relevant financial products.
  • Provide clients with insights and recommendations on FX trading and related products.
  • Collaborate with research and analysis teams to enhance client offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and feedback.
  • Generate periodic reports on sales
    performance and client portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other teams, including trading, research, and compliance, to provide seamless client service.
  • Participate in regular meetings and discussions to enhance sales strategies and client offerings
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

    Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years level of experience
  • Demonstrated B2B FX trading & payment solutions experience with proven track record in FX sales, account management, or a related financial sales role.
  • Demonstrable experience of working towards targets in a fast paced environment.
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services Industry, and especially the Foreign Exchange market with a focus on Africa is required.
  • Candidates must have a deep understanding of consultative sales principles, be adept at executive corporate level negotiations, and building long-term client relationships.
  • Knowledge of business needs and concerns and must be able to demonstrate success in new business sales in a dynamic environment consistently achieving or exceeding targets.

    Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and networking abilities.
  • Excellent client acquisition skills as well as experience building relationships with people of varying levels of seniority in the banking and non-banking financial services industry.
  • Proficient in relevant software and tools for tracking and reporting.
  • IT literate; proficient in CRMs, a Google Workspace.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, confident with high integrity and tenacity to bring value to a tight knit team.
  • High ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
  • A can-do, enthusiastic and helpful attitude.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently as part of a team.
