Main Job Purpose:The Manager Controls and Measurement provides stewardship of MTN’s performance in the organization-wide management of revenue leakage risk, and future design and implementation of a revenue responsible organization, commercial framework, and technology landscape. The role is seen as the advisory arm of the Revenue Assurance.
Job Functions:To manage the RAFM performance and provide governance support with Executives, Management and Stakeholders to ensure revenue assurance targets are met and control performance is optimized.
Continuously report to and update the RAFM Snr Manager and Executive team on new identified risks from product and/or system architecture /configuration reviews
Continuously report to and update the RAFM Snr Manager and MTN Uganda Executive team on identified leakages appropriately classified based on MTN Group RAFM guidelines and responsible for reviewing the accuracy and approving all registered leakage incidents and quantification in the Revenue Assurance Management System (RAMS)
Responsible for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting on primary & secondary RAFM control performance to the RAFM Snr Manager & MTN Uganda Executive team
Improve profitability through the reduction of revenue leakage through strengthening the primary and secondary control environment to effectively manage risk.
Responsible for archiving all RAFM secondary control performance evidences & act as the central lead for RAFM during any audit.
Responsible for ensuring that all RAFM secondary controls are properly documented and updated with correct details of control performance steps.
Manage and co-ordinate all RAFM risk assessments and business requirements analysis of organization change including new Projects, Products/Services, Technology changes.
Improve the overall RAFM maturity and business assurance maturity level of the organization through strengthening core capabilities in both the primary and secondary control environments.
Delivery of RAFM awareness campaign to improve revenue responsibility within the company.
Manage the assessment and continuous improvement of RAFM
organization to ensure that a
mature and capable environment is achieved.
To research, improve and provide ongoing support to Measurement, Reporting, Best Practice frameworks.
Education:
University Degree – BSc Quantitative Economics / BSc- Computer Science / BSc Data Analytics / Actuarial Science or any relevant degree.
Post Graduate Qualification –CISA/CISM/CRISK/ MBA/CAIT skills strongly preferred.
Experience:
At least 3 years of leading a Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management organization in
telecommunications company or at least 5 years in relevant sector/ industry relevant role.
At least 2 years of experience in audit and/or advisory organizations
At least 2 years of cross functional project management experience
Proven track record of business transformation, ownership and delivery. Hyperion and
Oracle knowledge a plus
Previous experience in finance or business management roles in the telecommunications
industry, within a risk assessment and management environment preferred
Advanced skills in Microsoft applications (including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Project,
Visio and Access), ERP (Oracle preferred).

ability to deliver.
