About the role

As a Credit Control Assistant, you will assist with various financial tasks and administrative duties. The ideal candidate should be meticulous, organized, and capable of handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Track invoices: monitor and manage the status of invoices to ensure timely payment.

Chase payments: contact clients to remind them of overdue payments and arrange for payment.

Client records: maintain accurate records of client accounts and payment histories.

Reports: prepare regular reports on outstanding debts and payment performance.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.

Familiarity with credit control processes and financial procedures.

Previous experience in a similar role or in accounts receivable, or in finance will be beneficial.

Numerical skills: strong ability to work with numbers and perform basic calculations.

Attention to detail: meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records and transactions.

Communication skills: good verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients.

Organizational skills: good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.

IT skills: proficiency in using accounting software especially Excel.
