MSEA Senior Information Communication Technology Officer Grade Jobs in Kenya
Duties and ResponsibilitiesDuties and responsibilities at this level will entail:-
Developing hardware and software specifications;
Developing and implementing ICT systems; Undertaking upgrading of software;
Updating and keeping inventory on Information Communication Technology activities;
Designing, recommending and evaluating systems;
Implementing, maintaining and documenting standards of systems;
Maintaining support systems and training of users;
Evaluating and recommending on the suitability of Information Communication Technology Equipment; Designing Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN);
Liaising with user department to ensure effective maintenance of ICT Equipment; and repairing and maintaining of Information Communication Technology equipment and associated peripherals.
Requirements for Appointment
For appointment to this grade, an officer must have:-
Served in the grade of Information Communication Technology Officer or in a comparable position for a minimum period of three (3) years;
Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Computer Science/Information Communication Technology ,Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Business Information Technology or its equivalent qualification from recognized institution;
Attended Senior Management Course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized institution; and
Demonstrated professional competence as reflected in work performance and results.
In addition, all prospective candidates Must satisfy the requirements of leadership and integrity as set out in Chapter six (6) of the constitution of Kenya and attach the following documents to their applications:-
Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission clearance Certificate (EACC)
Kenya Revenue Authority Tax compliance Certificate (KRA)
Higher Education Loans
Board clearance Certificate(HELB)
Certificate of Good Conduct from Criminal Investigation Department (CID)
Certificate from Credit Reference Bureau
