Job Description

To supervise the assigned station / section. Produce a consistent, high-quality product, ensure a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with our standards, policies & procedures in order to maximize guest satisfaction.

Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus

Ensures that food is stored, prepared and secured hygienically and safely

Assists in maintaining standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all kitchen and related areas

Ensures mise-en-place and preparation procedures are correctly followed

Ensure daily purchases are used economically according to needs and established policies

Carry out stocktake and ensure actions are taken if discrepancies occur

Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures

Qualifications

At least 1 Year previous experience in a similar capacity

Diploma in Culinary Arts or related field

Good knowledge on HACCP and other procedures in Food Production
