Mountains of the Moon University Deputy Director Procurement And Disposal Jobs in Uganda

Purpose of the Job

To manage and supervise the procurement and disposal function in the University in accordance to existing legal and policy frameworks.

Qualifications:

• Should have a Master's degree in either Procurement, Purchasing or Logistics and Supply Chain Management from a recognised institution.

• Should be a member of a recognized professional procurement or logistics and supply chain management body.

Experience:

• Should have at least seven (7) years relevant working experience in procurement, three (3) of which should have been at senior management level.

Competences:

• Evidence of team leadership including team building and individual professional development.

• Proven experience in timely preparation of routine and periodic financial statements and reports, reviewing and approving the correctness of the statements;

Advanced IT and numeracy skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to build productive relationship with senior management, employees and external stakeholders.

• Should have in-depth knowledge of 5. A commitment to, and experience of laws governing procurement.

• Should have

leadership and supervisory skills.

• Should have the ability to build, lead, and work with teams.

• Should be computer literate.

• Should have well developed communication and interpersonal relationship skills.
