The incumbents should be able to meet the following key performance areas:

Responsibilities

​​Visualizing and understanding of the facilities assessed:
​​

  • An understanding of the nature of the assets for which data has been captured in order to interpret the captured information appropriately.
    ​Understanding of the asset hierarchy and componentisation process:
  • ​Infrastructure is "unbundled" in a specific structure, grouped and categorised in a hierarchy, with parent-child relationships - this needs to be understood, used as a reference and applied in the QA process.
    ​​Recognizing errors, noticing omissions - determine corrective action:
    ​
  • A logical approach is to be used to evaluate the data captured, analyse and calculate, compare data / results with other elements, data and images to determine whether data is correct, complete and meet requirements.
    ​Effective communication within the team and with assessors:
    ​
  • The correct information must be conveyed to assessors to ensure clear understanding of the error / problem and the appropriate action required. There is also need to communicate with lead and team members to share experience and obtain confirmation as and when required.

    Requirements


  • A BSc / BEng in Civil Engineering
  • At least 1-2 years work experience in projects
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Be keen to improve personal knowledge
  • Attention to detail
  • Technical capability
  • Understanding of technical standards
  • Project delivery
  • Familiarity with relevant software
