Duties & Responsibilities
•Supervise laboratory technicians in technical department.
•Offer technical support activities to the Technical and Production team.
•Verify the compliance of work activities in accordance with the technical specifications of the project and identify potential deviations.
•Installation and trials with IRS and FWD.
•Provide analysis of laboratory observations.
•Provides Quality Control Measures for test procedures.
•Review and document all Laboratory results.

•Provide analysis of lab observations.
•Ensure Proficient use of technical instruments and equipment.
•Ensure that laboratory activities are conducted safely, and in compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills
•Higher National Diploma in a Laboratory management related discipline or Professional Certificate/training with 10 years’ experience managing Laboratory works in an international construction company will be considered in lieu of the required diploma.
•15 years plus of proven work experience in the coordination of Laboratory work activities.
•Experience working with Mota Engil will be an added advantage.
•Extensive knowledge in international laboratory legal standards and regulations of ACI/BS/ASTM/EN/SATCC/TMH and TRH.
•Advanced experience in prospecting and soil classification (CBR, Proctor, particle size, Limits and equivalent sands control and study subbases and bases in large particles.
•Proficient in studying and controlling of asphalt mixes in laboratory/field, control of concrete core and hydraulic construction.
•Expertise in SATCC TMH BS Standards and specifications in use of profilometer system to calculate the international Roughness index (IRI) and Falling wright Deflectometer (FWD).
