Monitoring and Evaluation Manager (M&E) Jobs in Uganda

The M&E Manager is responsible for the monitoring and evaluation of all the projects for WCH in Uganda.



The manager is responsible for developing appropriate tools and reporting formats, compiling reports and maintaining updated records of project progress including updated beneficiary tables.


Main Roles & Responsibilities


  • Responsible for collection of data for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
  • Responsible for the development of M&E tools and systems.
  • Train and support staff and partners on the use of M&E tools and systems.
  • Take lead in data analysis and reporting.
  • Provide technical advice for proposals.
  • Conduct/Coordinate base line/end lines and inception reports.


    Qualifications, Competencies & Skills


  • Relevant academic background (e.g.: development, statistics, demography, social science).
  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative monitoring & evaluation tools.
  • 3 years experience in monitoring & evaluation and work in humanitarian or development projects, preferably in psychosocial support, child protection, education.
  • Experience working with an INGO/NGO is desirable.
  • Strong social and communication skills.
  • Strong computer, analysing and reporting skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity.
  • Attention to detail with strong follow up.
  • Team oriented.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to network, lobby, and advocate on behalf of War Child Holland.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
