A well-established tea company operating in Mombasa is seeking to recruit a qualified candidate for the position of Assistant Tea taster/Marketer.

Mombasa Assistant Tea taster/Marketer Tea Company Jobs

Responsibilities

Responsible for determination of tea quality through objective tea tasting and reporting.

Responsible in promoting tea sales to different clients and establishing competitive contracts.

Establishing marketing initiatives within the organization while researching on tea trends from production to demand from markets.

Responsible for setting up staff targets.

Responsible for working to develop tea sales management, marketing, communication, and customer service.

Qualifications

Must demonstrate excellent people skills.

Should possess a University degree from a recognized institution.

Marketing qualification is desirable.

Having some experience in modern tea manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.

Must have good negotiation skills

Must have a high level of confidentiality.

Should possess leadership skills and ability to work with diverse teams and in a multi-cultural setting.

Should be confident, decisive and capable of portraying a superior corporate image.

Must be willing to travel long distances to work away from the office.
