Duties & Responsibilities

  • Collaborating and communicating successfully with other entities outside of the corporation;

  • Assist in establishing and nurturing strategic partnership relationships with new and ongoing strategic partners;

  • Collecting, analyzing, and utilizing data and feedback to identify opportunities to improve the relationship between the corporation and the other entities;

  • Proactively solving conflicts and addressing issues that could occur between the corporation and the other entities;

  • Compiling and maintaining partnership databases, reports, or updates about important issues for the partnership directorate;

  • Maintaining collaboration and regular communication with strategic partners to ensure smooth and impactful collaboration;

  • Assisting in negotiation and drafting of agreements with strategic partners;

  • Using data analysis and market research to mobilize resources and identify opportunities for new partnerships;

  • Assist in developing a balanced funding mix of donor sources and solicitation programs tailored to the needs of the Corporation that will enable it to attract, retain and motivate donors and fundraising volunteers;

  • Developing marketing strategies and tactics to promote the partnership to stakeholders;

  • Any other duties as may be assigned.

    Requirements for Appointment

  • Be a Kenyan citizen;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or
    related field from a recognized University;

  • Master’s Degree in a related field from a recognized University will be an added advantage;

  • Have had experience for a period of not less than five (5) years

  • Professional qualification and membership to a professional body where applicable;

  • Have knowledge and a clear understanding of intergovernmental relations and partnerships;

  • Proficiency in computer applications

  • Fulfill the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
