MOHI Christian NGO Manager - Health Mission Jobs in Kenya

Reporting to the Director of Missions, the position shall be responsible for the day to day operations and management of the MOHI health programs.

The qualified candidate shall provide leadership to the clinic staff, community health education and contribute to the professional and the organizational vision as it pertains to clinical practice and patient care.

Reporting to the Director of Missions, the position shall be responsible for the day to day operations and management of the MOHI health programs.

Support the development and implementation of MOHI’s strategic plan with a focus on health management

Spearhead the development and periodic review of operational plans for effective implementation of the health facilities.

Develop a systematic annual plan for the health facilities.

Ensure prudent management and use resources allocated for health facility.

Build good working and profitable relationships between the clinic, the local authorities and the community.

Patient Care and Management

Ensure that there is comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients

Enhance awareness on Health and Nutrition within the local community

Support training by preparing training materials.

Report Writing and Record Keeping

Keep complete and up to date patient records

Prepare and submit periodic reports as required by your supervisor
General Management and Administration

Ensure availability of required equipment

Ensure continuity in the supply of the consumables in the clinic

Ensure a smooth day to day running of the department

Adequately support all health facilities within the Organization

Manage and offer support to the staff in the health

department across all centres

Facilitate capacity building activities and initiatives for the staff in the health facility

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of a Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery or a related field from a recognized institution. A Bachelors degree in related field (e.g. public health etc) an added advantage.

Valid practicing license.

5 years’ experience in the field of medicine and at least three years of supervisory experience.

Good track record of high performance and lives the value of quality.

Skills, Abilities and Competencies

Result oriented and ability to make others perform without compromises.

Ability to inspire trust, professionalism and confidence.

Must be a committed Christian who not only lives the Christian values but also passionate about others living those values.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to thrive under pressure.
