MoH Headquarters Principal Health Inspector Jobs in Uganda



Qualification

  • Diploma in Administration

  • Diploma in Management

  • A Diploma in Environmental Health from a recognized University or Institution

    Experience Details

  • Should have at least six (6) years working experience, three (3) of which should be at the level of Senior Health Inspector

    Key Competences required for the post

  • Should have strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills, high integrity and a community service ethic

    Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas

  • Contribute to policy formulation regarding sanitation and hygiene

  • Provide technical support to Districts and Urban authorities in sanitation and hygiene related activities

  • Promote the development of sanitation and hygiene education materials

  • Support districts to carry out home and environmental improvement campaigns

  • Monitor and evaluate environmental sanitation activities

  • Support development/review of regulations and guidelines on sanitation

  • Advocate for compliance with regulations and guidelines on sanitation and hygiene

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
