Mirage Trading Company Finance Manager Jobs in Uganda
Mirage Trading Company Limited is one of the leading distributor of all types of high quality ceramic and porcelain tiles in Uganda. we deal in both imported and locally manuiactured tiles. We are seeking to recruit a suitably qualitied Accountant to manage our accounting function. The appointed person will report to the Finance Manager.
Responsibilities
• Ensure all invoices from external parties (suppliers, contractors etc) are received, properly recorded in the accounting system and promptly paid on due dates.
• Ensure that cash and bank balances are reconciled on a dailyl monthly basis.
• Take tinai responsibility for cash management and supervise the person assigned the role of petty cash management.
• Prepare/generate report or monthly management accounts.
• Ensure that all company expenses are recorded and that debtors and creditors are properly recorded and reported.
• Provide the necessary accounting data to the deserving managers
• Assist the management with the necessary tasks e.g cost calculations , filing finance related documents.
• Ensure the filling of monthly statutory returns such as VAT,PAYE etc.
• Preparing final accounts for external audit
Requirements
•
• Full qualifications in CPA or ACCA.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in a profit making organisation.
• Very good hands on knowledge Excel Spreadsheets and Accounting or ERP programs.
• Team player yet able to work independently.
• Good time manager.
