BackgroundThe East African Petroleum Conference and Exhibition (EAPCE) is held every two years on a rotational basis within the six Partner States' of the East African Community comprising Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania and Uganda.
Kenya is the host for the 9th EAPCE'19 which will be held at the Pridelnn Paradise Beach Resort, Convention and Spa in the Coastal City of Mombasa.
This Conference aims at showcasing the East African Community as a destination of choice for Oil and Gas investment opportunities to enhance socio-economic transformation of the region.
A Conference Administrator and a Conference Accounts Assistant are required to assist the National Organizing Committee (NOC) in the preparation of the Conference. They will be responsible for the Secretariat.
Conference Accounts Assistant
Qualifications, experience and key competencies
University degree in accounting, finance or related fields;
At least 3 years of experiences in finance and accounting works.
Knowledge in administrative and accounting procedures of the Government;
Good secretarial skills and good organizational capacity;
Good computer skills in common word processing (MS Word) and spreadsheet (MS Excel), and accounting software;
Holder of at least CPA II
Knowledge of SAGE PASTEL software (or any similar accounting software) is compulsory
Good communication skills (Swahili and English) Demonstrated competence shall be mandatory
Terms of Contract and Remuneration The successful candidates will report to the Chairman, National Organizing Committee of the EAPCE'19.
The appointment to all the above positions will be on
a twelve (12) month contract.
The successful candidates for the positions will be offered competitive remuneration package based on EAPCE' 19 terms.
