Ministry of Health Senior Psychiatric Clinical Officer Jobs in Uganda



Qualifications:

  • Must have a Diploma in Mental Health or its equivalent from a recognized Institution

    Experience:

  • Must have served for at least three (3) years as a Psychiatric Clinical Officer.

    Other Requirements:

  • Should have good communication, interpersonal and team building skills.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Treat and manage patients.

  • Refer complicated cases.

  • Conduct health education to patients.

  • Ensure quality assurance in clinical work.

  • Initiate and participate in research activities.

  • Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.

  • Participate in planning, budgeting, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating clinical work.

  • Manage and account for allocated resources.

  • Promote observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
