Ministry of Health Medical Officer (ART Clinic) Jobs in Uganda

Job Purpose:

Providing curative and preventative health care services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Participating in diagnosis, treatment and management of patients.

Evaluating patients and referring them for specialized health care.

Participating in the delivery of quality health care to patients.

Participating in Outreach and Community Health Programmes.

Participating in research activities.

Participating in continuing Professional Development Programmes.

Promoting observance of the Professional Code of Conduct and Ethics.

Compiling and submitting periodic reports.

Performing any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Key Outputs:

Patients diagnosed and treated.

Patients referred.

Outreach health service programs implemented.

Code of conduct and ethics implemented.

Reports compiled and submitted.

Qualification and Training:

Must have MBChB from a recognized Institution

Master’s Degree in a health-related field will be an added advantage.

Must be registered and licensed with Uganda Medical and Dental Practioniers Council

One (1) years’ exposure in managing HIV/Aids patients.
