General Notice on Medical Internship
FY 2020/21

Ministry of Health has started the process of admitting the medical interns into the internship training program to ensure quality and smooth management as follows:

All prospective medical interns should ensure that they get Temporary Registration from their respective professional councils and apply for internship training by 21th August, 2020

All Professional Councils/Board are required to compile the names of the registered candidates and submit to the internship committee by 31St August, 2020

Application shall not be received at the Ministry of Health Headquarters.

The Ministry of Health has the mandate to deploy medical interns to available training centers according to the capacity of the training centers and availability of trainers

The purpose of this notice is to inform prospectivel medical interns and Professional Councils/Board to expedite the above process to enable com encement of internship 2020/21 by Pt October, 2020. • • Dr. Henry G. Mwebesa Director General Health Services.
