Minimum Qualification

  • Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration; or Economics; or Statistics; or Petroleum Engineering; or any other related field from a recognized University/Institution.

    Working Experience

    Duties
    The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Petroleum Economist for performing the following duties:-

  • Participating in Economic modelling of development projects in the sub-sector;

  • Collecting economic data pertaining to oil and gas to be used in analysing economic trends in the sub-sector;

  • Participating in the review of Field Development plans;

  • Participating in Bid Evaluation for new License rounds;

  • Supporting evaluating new ventures activities (Farm-outs, Farm-downs and Farm-ins) with economic analysis;

  • Participating in collecting, analysing , interpreting and reporting of economic data;

  • Assisting in the analysis of various economic questions, and performing independent research;

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
