The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF with support of the Global Environmental Facility_(GEF), the UNDP and FAO is implementing a project - "Fostering Sustainability and Resilience for Food Security in Karamoja sub-region"

The project is planned to contribute to enhancing long-term environmental sustainability and resilience of food production systems in the Karamoja Sub-Region.

The 5 year project is being implemented in five districts of Mo- roto, Kotido, Nakapiripirit, Kaabong, Karenga and Nabilatuk in the Karamoja sub-region, head office based in Moroto.
MAAIF wishes to recruit staff and specialists to support project implementation, Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to apply for the various position

Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, identifying and supervising individual consultancies on specific assignments; planning and control, Monitoring and execution of the project, Monitoring financial resources and timely accountability, and ensuring that project outputs are completed on time and within budget and that the project's objectives and results are achieved.

Applicants should fill Public Service Commission (PSC) Form 3 (2008) in

triplicate and attach detailed curriculum vitae, certified copies of academic certificates and testimonials, appointment letters as evidence of working experience and at least three referees one whom must be a current or previous employers, and most recent passport photographs.

Applications should be addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries, P. o. Box 102, Entebbe, and delivered to the Open Registry, not later than 18th October 2019.
