Senior Account Executive
Ref: MRS/SAE/CL/04/2019

To effectively manage claims within the Claims Unit by ensuring efficient and consistent service standards and overall productivity within agreed timelines.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Claims handling i.e. reporting, documentation,
    facilitate expeditious handling and settlement as per agreed timelines
  • Regular meetings with the client, updating them on claims progress and addressing areas of concern
  • General complaints handling, upholding good
    customer service and relationships with clients
  • Conduct relevant trainings for clients
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions to
    customers on how to mitigate loss
  • Provide regular feedback to management on claim trends, frequency and any other material information
  • Appointment of service providers and regular
    interactions with them to ensure timely service is
    provided to clients
  • Ensuring that new market developments that
    impact on the Client claims is communicated to
    them and management
  • Making proposals, suggestions & recommendations on how to best improve claims service & processes
  • Preparation of monthly/weekly claim reports as
    required by management and clients

    Job Requirements
  • BSc. Degree in Environment/ Business or relevant field, 3 CII or equivalent papers with at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Enthusiastic and
    highly motivated person with the ability to interact at all levels
  • Excellent communication and negotiating skills with both clients and insurers
  • Be highly ethical & detail orientated
  • Possess excellent time management skills and enjoy working under a deadline
  • Experience & understand WIBA insurance in the Agricultural sector will be an added advantage
  • Knowledge about Health & Safety will be an added advantage
