Minet Loss Adjuster Jobs in Kenya

To provide guidance for all claims to Minet Clients with special emphasis on the large and complex ones.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Attend to each substantial loss that occurs
  • Visit the location of loss immediately upon
    occurrence; make enquiries, collect data, take
    photographs where applicable, interview the insured
  • Appoint / recommend appointment of loss adjusters and/or relevant experts in relation to the claim
  • Collect documents and interrogate them vis a vis the incident and policy requirements
  • Check on policy terms and conditions and internally advise the broking/claims team if they were adhered to prior and /or during loss incident
  • Prepare a preliminary report within 7 days of first visit to the location of loss providing a description or extent of loss while indicating the appropriate claim reserves
  • Provide appropriate advice to clients, assist them with documentation and act as a link between client, internal staff and insurer appointed intermediaries
  • Determine extent of loss and adequacy of cover.
  • Compute the loss value and submit the final report to management
  • Regularly interact with internal staff and provide technical guidance, trainings related to your field
    of work
  • Provide reports on customer feedback and service provider’s performance
  • Handle day to day claims when not preoccupied with loss adjusting duties

    Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or relevant field
  • Professional qualification - ACILA (Associate of Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters)
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal and communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Good writing and service orientation skills
