Purpose for the Job

The business development management role will be responsible of generating new businesses, ensure growth in portfolio and retention of existing clients.

Duties and Responsibilities

Identifies, targets and builds new relationships with existing and potential clients for revenue growth.

Develop a credible pipeline of prospective clients and growth strategies that allows for the achievement of individual monthly and annual targets.

Clearly articulates value propositions to existing and prospective clients.

Develops business growth strategies to help drive revenue growth.

Responsible of creating targeted sales and marketing plans.

Clearly understands client needs and can tailor make solutions to address the needs.

Participates in product development and creation of marketing collateral to support targeted value propositions.

Take part in the development of various products distribution channels.

Maintain a calendar for marketing campaigns.

Foster existing relationships to protect existing books of business.

Provide weekly and monthly production reports.

Knowledge And Skills Required

5 years relevant experience with demonstrated success in a similar position preferably within the insurance industry.

Experience in sales management with a proven track record.

Professional and Academic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a Business-related field.

Diploma in Insurance (AIIIK) or ACII.
