Job Summary

  • To provide quality counselling interventions to MUg clients and their families that support reduction in risk sexual behaviours, promote uptake of HIV prevention services including VMMC, and support retention into care by actively referring and linking clients to HIV prevention, care and treatment services.

    Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Counseling and Guidance from a recognised institution; Certificate in VMMC counselling for HIV prevention from a certified VMMC training institution.

  • The candidate should have 3 years’ experience in clinical counselling, current knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment and Knowledge of Ministry of Health-Uganda and district health services.

  • Registration with Uganda Counselling Association (UCA) is an added advantage.
