Job Summary

The Project Officer will lead the planning, implementation, and reporting of all HIV Preventions interventions for vulnerable, at risk Adolescent Girls and Young Women 10 -24 years in assigned districts to ensure that such girls are Determined, Resilient, AIDS Free, Mentored and Safe.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Development Studies, Community Psychology, or a related field from a recognized university;

A post graduate Diploma in Project Planning and Management is required. Masters’ Degree is an added advantage.

The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in Project Planning and Management;

Experience in facilitating group based education activities like FSGs, ESGs, Parenting Groups, and VSLAs will be an added advantage;
Knowledge of participatory approaches to community mobilization and engagement.

Experience with SASA, Stepping Stones and Asset Building Approaches will be an added advantage.

Current knowledge on HIV prevention, care and treatment, and experience with OVC and Gender programming is required.
