Job Summary:

The position holder will coordinate the Nurses and Midwifery skills laboratory, instruct students in the subject matter in accordance with the MoES current curriculum in the classroom, skills laboratory, and clinical placement sites. S/he will also be responsible for ensuring that the DME e-Learning/other Midwifery and Nursing students are adequately taught and supervised at the clinical placement sites.

Job Requirements:

A Diploma in Midwifery or Double trained (Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery).

A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Certificate in Clinical Instruction is an added advantage.

He/she must be registered with the relevant professional body/council and must have a valid practising licence.

Knowledge and Experience:

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Clinical Instructor;

Demonstrable experience in managing e-Learning training and correspondence, experience/knowledge in relevant MOH/MOES guidelines and policies; plus ability to mentor and teach.
