Reports to:

  • Operationally to the Cluster M&E Officer and Technically to the Data Manager

    Job Summary:
  • The position holder is responsible for the provision of technical support and direction in the area of data management for Mildmay Uganda supported facilities to ensure establishment and maintenance of quality data management systems that support delivery of quality data for programming, research and decision making.

    Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in either Statistics, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Demography, QE, or Information Technology
  • Or Bachelors degree in Social sciences/ Dev. Studies,/Arts with a postgraduate training in either statistics, QE, Information Technology, Database Administration or equivalent.

    Experience
  • Candidate must have Candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in Data Management;
  • Experience in use of data analysis packages like SPSS, STATA, Epi-Info (including analysis in MS Excel);
  • Knowledge in use of Relational Data Management systems;
  • Experience in managing manual medical records;
  • Knowledge of National Health Management information systems(HMIS); Knowledge in Quality Assurance practices.
