Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnforcement of County government laws;
Guarding County Government Property;
Reporting security incidences/breaches;
Carrying out investigations and making reports;
Carrying out and reporting security risks;
Managing the operations of the contracted security service providers;
Managing access control systems, employee and visitor’s identification;
Detecting unauthorized persons and vehicles from entering premises and/or protected areas;
Control crowds, collect information and report matters related to security matters;
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen
Be less than 36 years of age
Be in possession of KCSE mean grade D+ (Plus) or its equivalent;
Medical fitness;
Good vision, hearing and physique;
Pass in the aptitude test;
No previous criminal conviction or record;
Applicants must attach copy of National Identity card or valid Passport, and a certificate of good conduct;
All successful candidates for the interview will be required to carry their original documents
Successful candidates will have to undergo paramilitary training;

Hand delivered applications should be dropped at the offices of the Migori County Public Service Board located
at Nyamome along Namba – Masara road adjacent to Nyamome SDA church.
All applications should reach the Secretary/CEO Migori County Public Service Board on or before Thursday 21st January, 2021 at 5:00pm.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce their original identity cards, academic and professional certificates and testimonials.
For candidates to meet the requirements of chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010, applicants must obtain the following clearance:
• Tax compliance certificate from KRA
• Clearance certificate from HELB
• Clearance certificate from Ethics and Anticorruption Commission (EACC)
• Certificate of good conduct from Criminal Investigation Department
