Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinating managing and supervising the general administrative functions in the word.

  • Developing policies and plans.

  • Ensuring effective service delivery.

  • Coordinating development activities to empower the community in the ward.

  • Providing and maintaining infrastructure and facilities of public service in the ward.

  • Facilitating and coordinating citizen participation in the development of policies and plans and delivery of services in the ward.

  • Executing any other function and powers delegated by the Sub County Administration.

    Requirements for Appointment

    For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:

  • Be a Kenyan citizen

  • Hold a degree from a recognized university

  • Must satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of Kenya 2010.

  • Masters’ degree will be an added advantage.
