Mideva Venture Labs Operations Associate Jobs in Kenya

Our team is looking for a rockstar Operations Associate who will help set up, analyze, manage and
improve organizational processes and operations for efficient running and scaling of the program.

You will be a key part of the program team helping oversee and manage program budgets, talent ,
program delivery, reporting and evaluation. You will be joining the team for an initial contract
period of 6 months with a possibility of extension thereafter.

What you will do

As the Operations Associate, you will help:

● Develop, implement, review and and document processes, procedures and policies (such as
agreements, contracts and other documents) for successful operations of the organization

● Set up and manage an efficient financial and accounting system and process for the organization.

● Ensure a high service quality among the Africa YES’ service providers including sourcing and managing the relationship

● Manage and report on the program operations, delivery budget and audit

● Prepare monthly program reports and monthly financial reports.

● Problem solve and develop strategies for the organization’s operations

● Set up and manage tools and technologies

- for efficient running of the program

● Ensure organizational compliance with laws and regulations.

What you bring

● Prior experience (1-3 years) in a similar role or working at a high-energy startup environment

● Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Management, Accounting/Finance or another
related field (strong finance/accounting/reporting skills)

● Excitement for working with and supporting entrepreneurs in Kenya

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions

● Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, keeping the focus on execution and
delivering results consistently (project management and organizational skills)

● You are familiar with technology tools (G-suite, project management, remote working tools)

● You have attention to detail, you are organized, curious, creative and proactive

● Leadership skills (you are excited about taking ownership, collaboration with team members
and you are constantly looking to learn and grow).
