MICT General Manager Jobs in Uganda

EARS is a radio sales representation founded in 2019 in Uganda. It was initiated by the Uganda Radio Network (URN), Media in Cooperation and Transition (MiCT), Germany’s biggest Media NGO. The initiative was funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) to strengthen independent radios in East Africa.

EARS is looking for a General Manager to direct and manage EARS´ business activities and to develop and implement effective business strategies.

Responsibilities:

Business Development: identify sales leads, pitch our services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts

Team Lead: Hire employees as well as monitoring and motivating staff

Operations: Manage operational costs, oversee daily business operations, manage operational costs,

Admin: improve administration processes

Finances: monitoring of financial activities

Requirements: **

• Degree in business management, administration, or marketing.

• Work experience in an international organization or company.

• Strong leadership qualities.

• Excellent communication skills.
